Medium to Coarse Grind
Burr coffee grinder
Cup (250-300 ml)
18g for 1 cup, (60g of coffee / 1 litre of water)
300ml of water
Heat the water at a temperature between 92°C and 96°C.
Rinse the filter with warm water to prevent any papery taste and then drain the vessel.
Place your Clever Dripper complete with rinsed filter, on the scale and tare to zero. Add the ground coffee to the filter center and tare again.
Saturate the grounds with twice as much water as coffee (i.e. 18g coffee x 2 = 36g water) and wait for about 30 seconds (blooming phase).
Pour the remaining water evenly wetting the coffee.
Close the lids to avoid temperature loss.
Wait for 3.5 min, then place on a glass server and allow to drain.
Remove the filter and pent grounds.
Serve the coffee.
